About Phelps Recycling, Inc. 

We were created, established and incorporated in 1999 by well respected businessman, Robert L. Burkwit.  A native of Wayne County, Bob envisioned a waste removal company dedicated to servicing its customer base not just as customers, but as friends.  Friends treat friends with dignity and respect.  "This is Phelps Recycling, Inc."  Bob knew that competition would be fierce so, he assembled a staff that incorporated his values, diligence and vision for success.  Our operations department staff members have well over 30 years experience within the waste and recycling industry.  Each member of the team strives hard to produce winning results daily.  This dedication has afforded Phelps Recycling, Inc. to expand our services and coverage area.
